BUCKEYE, ARIZONA – (July 25, 2017) – A special dedication ceremony will be held for the Buckeye Elementary School District’s newest school on Friday, July 28 at 9 a.m. Marionneaux Elementary School, located at 24155 W. Roeser Road in Buckeye is the eighth school within the District.
The school is named after a prominent family in the community who donated land as part of a housing development project, which would include a new school. The school sits on more than 15-acres of land and is 86,174 sq. ft. The student capacity is approximately 1,000 for Kindergarten through 8th grade students.
Marionneaux Elementary School features classrooms designed with flexible workspace floorplans, state-of-the-art teaching technologies, including interactive teaching walls, STEM Lab, natural lighting, high-tech security systems and other features to enhance the educational experience.
The dedication ceremony will include school district and community leader speakers. Tours will be offered following the ceremony.
